For this quilt top I picked out some ugly fat quarters and threw in some brights to give it some color.The block is similar to a layer cake pattern I did earlier this year but I like this one because you can use scrap yardage. I will probably make more for the grandkids who have outgrown their smaller quilts. I am looking forward to the next MQ. I like all the variations and colors other people have done.
