I wanted to stay with the original layout and borders as directed in the MQ instructions, but I thought my colors needed something extra. So when it was suggested as a fall throw, I decided to add some leaves. The leaves are cut from three shades of Fossil Fern batik.

You really knocked this out of the ballpark with the addition of the leaves. such a wonderful color group, one of my favs is fall shades. We in TX don't get too much color change, so we love to add these into our homes.

It takes a very simple pattern and dresses it up with the beautiful leaves.  Love it.
