Thanks that was VERY helpful! Not nearly so hard when someone walks you through it.

These are all beautiful fabrics. Going to be a beautiful quilt.

Thanks! By the way I just have to tell you that seeing where you are from has brought back memories for me. My Great-Grandmother lived in Vinton, Virginia many years ago.
I am so glad you posted those instructions. I was getting so frustrated with not being able to do this. I have been wanting to do a black red and white quilt and was shocked to see how many fat quarters I actually have. I hope these work.

I'll bet that will look good!
Wow...now that is coincidence. Where do you live.
These should make a very pretty quilt.
I live in Augusta, GA
I'm glad I found this group! I love doing mystery quilts and enjoy getting rid of my enormous stash :) I have posted a picture of my finished part 2. Can't wait till next week. I like using batiks, so I hope they go together okay.

Hi kwenthin and nice to meet you, sorry if I already said this, better to say it twice than not at all... :) Great fabrics.
Life is like a quilt...bits & pieces, joy & sorrow, stitched with love
Hi Chris and nice to meet you. I will have to go and take a look at what you have done so far.
This is a first for me and with Christmas quickly coming to my house, I may not get much done until after but I am excited to see how this works.
Hi Texas Bluebonnet it is nice to meet you. This is a very easy pattern and you will be able to get it done in no time.
