    This one was fun to do. I had TONS of help--many of my quilty friends sent me blue squares so I could make it. Once finished, it was donated to a women's shelter my Payroll Chapter supports.

  • Finished the quilting on my MQ6!

    I am so happy to be done with all the steps to complete this quilt. I had a longarm quilter baste it for me, but I did all the quilting on my machine. On and off, I would work on other projects, but would return to this quilt so that one day it would be finished. And now it is! I now look forward to...

  • Fabric for MQ6

    A fabric store was going out of business this past summer, and I bought lots of fat quarters. Here was a chance to use it up, and I didn't even touch my (enourmous) stash! I also plan on cutting out my kit I received from MSQC. More later!

  • Debi's MQ6 fabrics, cut and ready :)

    I found a jelly roll that was quite intriguing and decided to use it. I first chose a kona white as the background, but changed to black once I had all 628 of the blocks cut. I have never done a black background quilt before.....here we go :)

  • Batik scraps for MQ6

    I cut the 2.5" squares from batik scraps I had and a few strips from a jelly roll. Can't decide on whether to go with light or dark backgroud.
