Here is my MQ6. I'm not going to use border on it I just like it as is. I used a ton of different prints for the little squares and for the background well this fabric kept calling my name... and I didn't care for any of my lighter fabrics.
really like the dark background too. I waivered on using dark on mine, but chickened out. This is fabulous.
Zsofia, your quilt is beautiful! So different with the dark background but I really like it! I also agree, no border is needed and the binding should be the same as the background IMHO.
Another gorgeous one!! Love it! I used a brown background, too, and can't wait to get it together. Three beauties so far!!
Zsofia, I clicked on your photo to get a closer look at your background. That is a really cool fabric and I like the kaleidoscope designs you got from it on your X-blocks.
Here's my finished top and I am so happy with the results! Thank you for letting me a part of this group. I have enjoyed reading all your comments and viewing all your pictures. Debbie-do and Zsofia your tops are beautiful!
Bold selection on the background fabric! It really works well with your blocks!
I too chickened out with a darker background, and now wish I would have been more daring! This is a beautiful quilt! Nice Job!!!!
Zsofia, I love the bold prints in your squares and that background is Cool!
I love that background fabric! Your smaller squares really stand out. Beautiful!
Love the darker backround - allows the colors to really shine!
