Jan, the Calico Quilter - My "ugly fabric challenge" mystery selections

Jan, a while back we had and ugly quilt contest where we had to take the ugliest fabric in our stash and together with only 2 other fabrics make a quilt of our pattern choice.  Even though we felt the fabrics were ugly all the quilts came out so beautiful it is hard to believe it was the same fabric.  (check out the ugly quilt group)  I am sure your quilt will be wonderful, I love the blues in your border fabric.

Color choices are really pretty.  I'll bet you won't think it's so ugly when it's done.  Can't wait to see.

All the subtle little blocks are going to calm your bold fabric--I expect it will be awesome.

I love your border fabric , And you did a wonderful job in pulling out colors from the border print for your 2.5  fabric squares.

I think your "ugly " fabric will make a bold statement.

I think these colours look stunning. Was just browsing thru the media section and your pic jumped at me.
