Just a quick question. What should be the measurement of the 16 patch? Some of my 4 patches didnt make the mark, (should have done the scant 1/4" seam), so was hoping to make amends here, and not trusting myself and math this morning.

Should be 8.5"
thanks for the help. now to see how close I can get to that. The great part about note being that great of a sewer or quilter is you learn how to adapt and make things work....haha
Quick question on the 16 patches. Are there recommended pressing directions for locking seams when we put it all together? Thanks!

Hi Steph.
There are no instructions for pressing. You might want to wait until you are ready to put your blocks together into rows, then press.
