Finally finished piecing this one and have dropped it into my queue for quilting. My daughter has already indicated she will snag this for her bed once it is done.
I guess since mystery quilt 6 has started that I better get 5 finished. I chose two different colorways and this is my favorite. I chose to cut off a bolt instead of use a jelly roll for one set and I did use a jelly roll for the second set. I am still working on that one!!

Finally after a bit of a delay I got the top finished.
I love this!! I haven't decided if I want to add another border. This size right now is 40 X 55 and is perfect as a throw for my best friend for Christmas.

My 5th QCA mystery top is complete. I worked solely from stash and my starting strips were from a scrap bag I bought at the LQS. They were only 36 inches long so I have to improvise. These are from a moda jelly roll and I added extra red to have enough for the squares to have the same color in the same place. (I am a control freak!) Roll on Friday!!

FInally picked out my fabrics and got everything cut this weekend. My fabrics are a strip collection from Keepsake Quilting that I forgot I had :( with some other stuff from my stash. The cream swirl is my background and the green pattern is my sashing, unless I change my mind! No clue yet on border...
