My completed MQ V, quilted and bound. Each block is quilted with a feathered heart. The border is quilted with a feathered scroll coming from a heart in the middle of each side and in the corners.

Not quilted but the top is done. This was a fun project and my first online mystery quilt. I am looking forward to doing another one. My niece brought me a bag of fabric scraps from a yard sale and ta da, this is what I created from it.

MQ5 made from a Moda jelly roll called "Hope." Under fluorescent light, this looks fairly white, but those plain strips are really a rich beige with a small print. I've never tried a border like this, so I was pleased that I was able to get the on-point squares to match up in the corners...

Here are my strips, I just can't decide whether to group them like this or have a 5 groups with the reds and 5 groups with the greens. I also still need to decide what to use for the sashing. Decisions, decisions ....... :-)
