Sandy H.:
They add an element of excitement  that some of us old-timers has lost.

Truly they do.

Hey, wait a second, who are you calling an old timer? LOL Must be Leslie,  I'm still a spring chicken.

We're ALL spring chickens,  We just don't want to admit how far back in the fog that spring was!

Hi there! I was just skipping through and saw the Mystery Quilt 5 and it stopped me. I heard a little whisper in my ear saying "you need to try this."  I've never participated in anything like this, so here goes.  I have read all the information so far and I think I have all the material I need here. I'm not sure how to do all of the printing and posting, but I'm sure I'll figure it out after several calls for help.  So this is it, I'm in a group of quilting people. I'm afraid to just say women because I've found that there are some fine men quilters out there by what I've read.  I'm also a talker, maybe I won't type as much as I talk because my hands will be busy. LOL Better start in so I can catch up. Later! :-)

ROFLOL. Is that like skeet shooting, only with chickens? If so I can relate. LOL

One of the reasons I look so forward to MQ's is the excitement and change of pace it brings. I still have dreams of one day being able to retire and quilt 'til my hearts content. I'm such a dreamer. LOL. Quilting is my "Calgon, take me away time." LOL

LOL, One more day......and it's off to the races....The excitement really starts to build as you see everyones progress pics of the steps and the fabrics starting to build into a quilt.
