Here it is, all done. I've included a snippet of the back, where a stripe was offset into the solid silver to add some interest. Wish I had some better pictures, but the lighting in here is just awful and the sun has been hiding these past few days so couldn't get outside for it.
I played with my camera and was finally able to lighten up the picture some. I usually do not name my quilts because I am not that creative. If it must have a name it can be Pat L's MQ5. LOL, told you I'm not creative.
X's and O's
Here is mine, It's pin basted at the moment (batting folded back for photo). I forgot to snap a picture beforehand. The colors are a little out of my usual range, and I was going for something less floral. I was thinking 'primary colors', but then it started to look like a confederate flag, so I added the greens and oranges at the edges. I call it Xs and Os. I hope to get it ready to donate to the nursing home that took such good care of my mother, who I lost this year. They have an annual craft silent auction. I will do my first free hand quilt of hearts in the heart shape, and maybe a circle in the center.
I just returned from the Sewing Expo where I took a couple FHQ classes, so wish me luck!

This is how far I got, will post when the top is completed. I may do an alternate block set on point. My LQS has a sale this weekend and I plan on shopping tomorrow.
I just posted my MQV quilt top in the Media section. I can't for the life of me figure out how to post it in this thread. How can I copy it from Media to Post Pictures Here for Viewer's Choice?

Here's my completed top with a closeup of the piano key border.
The top for my black and blue quilt is all done now! Had to go get more Kona black cotton to get the last border on. It was fun doing this project!
Not sure if this is the right way to post my pics but will see if it works. Just finished my top. Now how do I vote????? Hopefully will figure it out. Thanks Sandy for a very fun Mystery Quilt. This was my first.
