Darlene:
Do you think there will be enough contrast between the red and dk black

Darlene,  I think your red is light enough to go with the black.  There is enough white in them to help with the contrast. I always like red, white and black.

Thank you Judy T-Bellingham.

No, I used the neutral color fabric to take the photo & disguise the bright blue container lid it is covering.

This will be my first MQ so I'm excited to get started.  I don't have a jelly roll, but I do have plenty of fabric to cut into strips.

I am so loving my Accuquilt Go cutter right about now.... 320 squares done!!! I cut all my squares in under an hour using the 2 1/2 inch multiple die. 45 squares cut at one time. This is my first mystery quilt so I can't wait for the next instruction.

And I'm loving all the first time MQer's in the group.  They add an element of excitement  that some of us old-timers has lost.  I'm really happy to have such a great turn out from oldies and newbies.

I think we had somewhere around 30 on our very first MQ, but we haven't had that many since then.

This is my first mystery quilt.  Hopefully I'm on the list - I'm planning on completing it.  Got my fabric picked out and the background squares cut.  Just waiting for the next step.

Mimi, you don't have to be on a list, you just have to join in.
