Ah, ha. Does this mean we have found our goldens? Are you volunteering to teach a bunch of women virgins who want to learn FSL? Do I see your hand raised in the air to volunteer? I think I heard a volunteer in there somewhere.

Kelley

That sounds fantastic.  Where do you get your FSL designs?

Most of my designs for FSL are either from

Ebroidery Secrets.com or

Ebroidery Library .com

or Anita gooddesigns .com

Im sure others have other great places to get FSL designs..

Hello!  I am new to Quilters Club of Amercia and I love machine embroidery too!

I have a Brothers PE-180D stand alone embroidery machine.  I use Amazing Box II software and my favorite website for ordering designs is Embroidery Library.

Hi Diane U., Welcome to QCA. Embroidery Library is also one of my fav's. Look forward to having you jump in with us and chat or post pic's in Media. There are several discussion threads in this group and I would love to hear how you like your machine, etc.

This week I found some FSL bowls and made my first one. Three of the pieces are fine, the wash away stabelizer won't wash out of the other two. I soaked them in warm water, rubbed them together and even put them in the washing machine. It just won't come out. Any suggestions?

They have lots of beautiful lace bowls here.  http://www.secretsof.com/content/1859

Thanks for the link.  Oh my do they ever have some beautiful stuff and their prices aren't bad either.   I have spent quite some time drooling over their patterns this morning    It appears we have found another enabler in our group....LOL>

Nana,

They have free designs all over the site including a FSL bowl. I downloaded it and stitched it out. It is beautiful!

OK - so I think I am finally over the worst of my problems from the spider bite and ready to get back in my sewing room.  I want to crank up my new embroidery machine.  Got my thread and a whole slew of different stabilizers.  Now - how do I know which kind of stabilizer to use with what fabric?????  Inquiring minds need to know.  This is too much money sitting here staring at me.
