Sue I hadn't heard of this so I had to google it.

Here is the link for PAL. brought to you by Elaine from CME. I suppose this is her latest tool developed .  No price given!!

I don't have any real need for her perfect placement stuff, as I have a Janome MC10001 and Janome offers the Clothsetter for our hoops.

I did by the hoop it all and it doesn't  work for me that was a wasted 150 bucks, but from that , I now make my own target stickers for names and words and when setting up my shirts to work on. So I guess it wasn't a total waste.

wow Sue how long have you had your Viking diamond?? Those are truly an elite machine. I am wondering if there is a placement guide made just for that machine since it has such a large sewing area. Have you looked into the other  placement tools that help with alignment when you use printed templates? I am sure you thought of that before  this new gadget came out..  Here is a link for you to see about the rulers for placement on shirts and such. I did almost buy this set as I do so many shirts for bowling teams. However as I said above I use printed templates and the clothsetter and made my own target stickers.  When I place my garment into my hoop on the clothsetter it is aligned with the crosshairs, I use the target stickers as a check point mostly, but I can mark all the team shirts while the machine is doing an embroidery so that the next one is ready to go.
