What kind of embroidery machine do you have?

How long have you had it?

How often do you use it?

Is it a combo machine?

To answer my own questions:

I have a Brother Innov-is 1000 (after the first of the year I THINK my hubs is planning
to get me the Innov-is 1500D)

I have had my machine for 5 years (well in a couple weeks it will be 5)

I have been using it more the last few months, although it is hit and miss at times for
for me. Most of the time it depends on how heavy my class load or should I say homework
load is.

Yes my machine is a combo sewing/embroidery and I love it.

How about you?

Hello Louise, we meet again.

I have a Janome 1000+ that I purchased used and upgraded (10001) in July 2005.

This machine is a combo and it works hard nearly every day.

I absolutely love my machine; it is serviced  twice a year because of all the work it does. Sometimes it needs an extra adjustment just because it loves my dealer so much.. lol

major brans like Janome has come out with those really big priced machines that make us all dream, I would love to trade up but simply can't afford a machine priced like a small car..

Janome 350E

1 year

I have only used it 4 times so far. :o{  I plan to "force" myself to work with it more in 2012 to really learn how to use her as I love all the designs that are available out there.

No - it is just an embroidery machine.

I have a Janome 350 E

I've had it for about 8 years

I use it quite a lot.....more and more since all my friends know I love to embroider things!

Not a combo machine but I have 2 sewing machines and a serger  all in a dedicated sewing room, so that's no problem at all.

Marge, and Marsha, I have thought of purchasing a Janome MC350 as an extra EMB only unit. I taught  classes for my dealer on the software, and several of my students had them as second machines. My machine is in use nearly daily and I sometimes wish I had two so that my jobs could be done more quickly. I own two sergers and another sewing machine that get workouts, but it is the embroidery projects that take up most of my time in my sewing room.
I just love designing womens wear & accessories and making the darling projects in easy quilts and other magazines.

Happy Sewing, Quilting and Embellishing with Embroidery!!
