Karla, Love the block. It has a very southwestern feel.  I really like the way it turned out with the "lop sided" HSTs.

Mimi:

Oh Sue.  I've had a cold for the last two weeks also.  I so feel for you.  I'm still recovering.

Thanks Mimi, Hope you are on the mend too.  If only the cough would quit, I'd feel a lot better.

Oh, good heavens, no.

Oh come on.  You know you want to. That block is just screaming out for more friends to keep it company. LOL  just kidding

Sue:
Ladies your blocks very good.  This one gave me fits too.  Maybe if I wasn't sneezing so much it would have gone together better. I have an upper respiratory infection and head cold.  Doc says another week before I am ready for the public again. Anyway, here's my block.

I like your block Sue.

I hope you feel better soon.

Here is my Christmas Star.  The points aren't perfect, but close enough. I couldn't resist doing this in red and green.  :)

They look pretty perfect to me, Martha.  When I can I'm going to use the same color scheme.  Nice job on your block.

Had a hard time with this one.  This is the best I can do with it.  Can not figure out why it will not work out.  This is my third attempt and I made sure all measurements were correct.

Jeanette, on these sometimes I make the original squares (before cutting in half) just 1/8" bigger.  AND most important of all, before cutting I use Best Press.  Makes handling those small bias pieces easier.  Trimming down is easier than making the blocks over again or frog stitching, something I dislike!

Thanks Sue, I will try it.  I will be doing this one again, but not right now.  I want to get caught up.
