Pretty floral, Jeanette. There's no law that says you have to make every block in the book. I did Augusta, but it's not perfect and fwiw, I fully intend to skip anything that stops being fun for me. I'll replace with some other 6" block pattern if I end up without enough blocks at the end.

Thanks everyone for your comments on this block.  This is the kind of work I really like.  I have always loved to be creative with uneven directional prints and uneven plaids.  There is a lot of challenge there to pick out the parts of the pattern that will look like a match.  I did this all the time when I was in Highschool making blouses, dresses and skirts.  I used to practice this on aprons.  This was fun.  I have 3 more pieces in different colors of this print to play with.
