Marsha, I like this one with the greens. I admire your hand piecing too.
Another great block Marsha.
Marsha nice greens.
Very, very pretty block, Marsha. Your little stitches are so even.
Mimi:Very, very pretty block, Marsha. Your little stitches are so even.
Thanks, Mimi, and everyone else who has commented on my blocks. As for little even stitches - this was a GOOD day. Some days they are not so small or even or even in line!! At least I can sit with my feet up and the pain down while hand-piecing. It is so relaxing for me, but it has been quite a while since I have done hand work so my fingers are a little (or a lot) tender, depending on the day. On a bad day I back the tiny needle into my finger and keep finding the same hole every time!! I do not do thimbles!!! So many have given me suggestions on what to use to protect my fingers, but the best seems to be the fingernail polish I use. Unfortunately, the one I have now doesn't last and isn't as tough as what I have used in the past. Need to find another brand that is harder but still flexible.

Pretty block Bonita.
Great fabrics and great points, Bonita. Love the dark and light blue combination.
Another great one, Bonita. Love your fabric.
Thank you Ladies. I liked doing this one.
Again, everyone's blocks are looking good. Love the fabrics being used.
With this one I used the book for the flying geese, set my machine for the 1/4 inch then moved the needle one click right. Really had no problems with them but Zafter I took picture see that a couple of my points don't match. Oh well " good enough for government work" so will move on.
Very pretty, and so much fun to see some of the fabrics I am using, too. I am on month 5 of the First Ladies quilt and find I have quite a bit of extra fabric to play with.
Beth, your block looks great!
Do you think you could see those points from a fast moving horse? One of our bee members says that if she can't see it from a fast moving horse it's OK.

Martha - I try not to copy your blocks but I know it may happen :). I'm only on month 3 of First Ladies - we started in November and I too have lots of material so will probably try and use more of it.
Sue - I know the saying so that is why I am not going to sweat it:). I've learned that quilting is supposed to be fun, so I do the best I can and move on. It is the only way I can stay sane
Great block Beth. I think I have some of the blue.
