Points look good to me Karla. I like your greens. I need to get some more green.

Karla I love your block.  I love that you added red to the block. It really brings out the other colors.

You did a good job on a difficult block, Elizabeth.  I don't think this one is anyone's best friend.

Martha Haines:
Best Friends. After reading all the posts I took my time with this one.
Perfect job - - such pretty colors.

Here is mine.  Not a very good block to do by hand - - - fingers barely survived tonight.  I started it this morning and just finished it an hour ago!

okay I tried making this block for another quilt. I thought it would be fun. I was going to make a lot of them, but thinking differently now. First, all my HSTs had to be trimmed 1/8". And because I wanted to make so many, I thought I would try to use the triangle ruler, like used in the MQ. That didn't go all that well. They turned out way to big. I was going to practice on some scrap. Maybe I will give it a try again later. And will think about some other blocks to use as well. This is for the quilt for DH, that I have to work on when he isn't around, so I am thinking something not so time consuming. But I thought the name "best friend" would be perfect for his quilt.

So, here is a pic. but remember it doesn't go in the LUS quilt
