Here is my block.  Had the same problem here where it came together a little short.  I will wait till the end to see if I should make new ones.

If you are just a smidge short press the block really well and see if your measurements are closer.

I like your fabrics. Your block is very pretty. I wouldn't remake it. Press it again and make it fit when you add sashing. To borrow a quote from the author of "Dear Jane", "Finished is better than perfect."

Thanks Nana that was the first thing I did hoping that was all it was.  I will try it again and try to make sure I really get it as flat as possible.  I am sooooooo near the measurement.

Use lots of steam and it will flatten out for you.  I wouldn't worry about being just a little off.  It will work out.

last one I worked on, think it kind of shows. points aren't looking good. but for now I am saying they're good enough. maybe at some later date I will change my mind but rather easy one if I do that.

Ok, new to some of the quilting lingo.......what's "frog 3 or 4 times"? really don't want to go looking for the green frogs in the pond. lol
