Here is my block. Had the same problem here where it came together a little short. I will wait till the end to see if I should make new ones.
If you are just a smidge short press the block really well and see if your measurements are closer.
Elizabeth:Can not believe I got them all done so fast. This is so much fun!
Pretty block Elizabeth.

I like your fabrics. Your block is very pretty. I wouldn't remake it. Press it again and make it fit when you add sashing. To borrow a quote from the author of "Dear Jane", "Finished is better than perfect."
Cathy:The green had a slight stripe in it.
It's a beautiful green Cathy. Nice work.
Pretty fabrics Jeanette.
Very pretty block Elizabeth.
Thanks Nana that was the first thing I did hoping that was all it was. I will try it again and try to make sure I really get it as flat as possible. I am sooooooo near the measurement.
Use lots of steam and it will flatten out for you. I wouldn't worry about being just a little off. It will work out.
last one I worked on, think it kind of shows. points aren't looking good. but for now I am saying they're good enough. maybe at some later date I will change my mind but rather easy one if I do that.
