Mimi:

Those Jo Morton's are beautiful Roxana.  I'm not too happy with this one.  too much blue....but then can one have too much blue?

Mimi, never too much blue! What fabrics are yours? I love them!

Everyone's blocks look so good. Isn't this fun?!

Roxana:

I'm using mostly Barbara Brackman's collection called Civil War Homefront. It's a FQ collection that I've had forever and thought it would be a good time to use it.  I'm also pulling some from my stash of CW repros.  The florals in my House Divided block is Judy Rothermel.  They seemed to blend well with the rest.  I'll probably use some of Jo Morton's fabric too since I have a good selection due to the club at my LQS.  Today I'm just trying to get my next Jo's Little Women assignment done for Wednesday.  Hope to post later.

Yes this is great fun. CW reproduction fabrics are one of my favorites.  And you're right.  Everyone's blocks are looking fantastic.

P.S.  Thanks to those who commented on my blocks.  I greatly appreciate the encouragement.

thanks. When I was putting the last of it together. I wasnt even paying attention. I just lined up the edges and sewed. then when I went to press, I had an "X", I was like um dont thinnk that is right. Had to tear out . guess I had better start following the directions instead of thinking  I know something. I think that paisley was one I picked up for $1.00 a fat quarter. I love paisleys. I still have some from the back of mq7, that I havent decided whether to pull out. It is a light brown, and think I have enough of that but never know , one block just might be calling it

Pretty blocks Jeanette and Tami. I like the dark fabrics you've both used.

Thank you Nana and Kris. I'm having fun doing these blocks. This is my first attempt at 6.5 inch blocks as well as a Civil War quilt.
