Thanks Sue for you suggestions. The two blue triangles are there because I ran out of the flower material. Since I have not done most of these blocks I am trying to usr fabric I have. Once i have mastered the block I will use other fabric and use the other ones in another quilt.
Jeanette Kennedy Asiala:Here is my first attempted on this one. I love it but I don't know what happened because I am about quarter inch off. I have never done flying geese and don't know if that is where I went wrong.
some days we all have trouble putting blocks together. If the method in the book is not working for you try a different one. Connecting threads has a number of tutorials that might help you. I've linked on one tutorial. On the left side if you click on flying geese you'll see a few more.
Thanks Kris for tutorials I will take a look at them. I need to master flying geese for another quilt I am looking at making.

Love this one. Beautiful fabrics.
Pretty block Tammy.
Nice work Susan. I really like that blue fabric.
Wow Susan this block really pops. Great work.
Pretty block Carol.
Ooh...Carol you're using those new Paula Barnes fabrics Hampton Ridge. I love your block.
I over-scanted. Only one point that is really super bad though (in my opinion). I can live with it. I like this block - despite my poor construction. :)
It's pretty Carolyn. I like the colours.
More wonderful blocks everyone, Sue and Eliana you both have beautiful background fabrics, Susan, I just love your dark blue, it is so pretty.
