Carol:
I am going to use my stash of Civil War fabrics that I have left over from making Barbara Brackman's Civil War Sampler in 2011. Actually, I had more than double the fabrics at the end of that quilt than when I started!!!

That's what happened to me also Carol. I have the Sampler completed and just need to quilt it. Maybe next week.

Bahaha.  I was kind of thinking of picking up fabrics as I went along, but maybe that's a bad idea.  :)  Oh, I need to go ahead and decide on fabrics soon, I know!

My book is supposed to arrive tomorrow. Then I'll have a better idea of which of my fabrics to use. I hope.

My book came today along with the matching tote, I needed the 6 bucks to get the free shipping. It's quite large with a zipper at the top. Now to see if I have any thing to use as a background.

I was really tempted to order that tote too. It's good to hear that everyone is liking them, I'm sure one will end up at my house before too long!

Got my Loyal Union Sampler book. Tomorrow I'll take it down to the local print and copy shop. They only charge me a $1 to slice, very thinly, off the binding and 3-hole punch the book. I like putting it in a 3 ring binder. I also received Sylvia's Bridal sampler and will do the same with it.

Judy, that's a great idea only I think I would like to put mine in sheet protectors.of course, we don't have a local print shop near where I live but I can find one. Thanks!

Judy, that's a fantastic idea!  I'll have to see if our local shop will do that.

I've also decided to wait for the quilt show in Houston to get more fabrics.  I think I have enough to get started, now where did I put that camera?

More later.
