Leslie, it is always nice when we buy something and still like it after we get it home. I'm glad you are enjoying your new toy and I'm sure you will learn lots from your class.

Spud, have you noticed, with your 6600, when you sew over thick seams if the fabric tends to push to the left, out from under the pressure foot? I was talking with my dealer yesterday and she said she's experiencing the same thing with her 6600 as the rest of us are with our 7700s. I never had that problem with the 6600. Just curious!

What things are you missing, Leslie? I think I've totally spaced what the 6600 had! LOL!
I miss the vertical spool holder, too, but my understanding is all shops should have one that attaches to back with 2 screws sometime this month. It's for larger spools of thread, but I just like the way the thread feeds from a vertical position better. As for the bobbin winder, I don't miss that because I buy pre-wound bobbins. I did try the one on this machine, though, and it works better than the one of the 6600 I think. I have the Sidewinder, too, but I don't use it very often - well, duh, because of the pre-wound bobbins. LOL!

I have not noticed my 6600 doing that Judy, but maybe I've never had a thick enough seam. I'll have to pay attention but, at this point, I don't think it does push out.
