My new book arrived today, its a new one for English Paper Piecing,
It has some different designs in it, so i think it will come in handy.
lots of love
Frances--I'll have to check out the book. I have so many quilting books (in fact I am pulling some off the shelves to give to a friend of mine--I know I won't be using them and I'm sure she would be happy to take them), but I really don't have any like the one you just received. I want to do more hand work and less machine work-I no longer feel like I have to "crank out" "billion and billions" of quilts. Your book just might be what I need. Thanks for letting the group know about it.

Frances--I just put the book on my Wish List and saw that there is a correction to it and I printed it out for myself so I wouldn't forget. Did you know that? If not, I'll find it for you.

No i didnt know, but i will search at that patchwork place and fine it. I think EPP must be coming back into fashion this is the second new book in the last couple of months with another one due out in june i think. Its also fair to say that if anyone wants a book with the quilts made solely of EPP this isnt it, the new fashion in the books seems to be for a quicker turn around on quilts to be partially EPP and then using other techniques, but for me still an interesting take on EPP.
Frances--I'll have to take a closer look at the book (or as much as I can online) to see if EPP plus other techniques is what I really want.
to make it easier i will take some photos of inside the book and post them tommorrow, then you can see if its what you want.
I havent forgotten you, we have had persistant rain which makes for taking very bad pictures, so the sun was shining this morning and i took my chance, so here they are.
This is the other book i brought same type of thing EPP plus other techniques.
lots of love
Frances--Thanks for the pics. Both books look great and are on my wish list. Please let me know when you decide to work on one of these projects. I would be interested in your comments as you go along.
I have to say they are on my list to do however my list is a long one, i collect quilting books projects on the go at the moment include the mystery quilt, 2 applique quilts, the 2 EPP quilts, and finish 2 log cabins, i think thats about it so far. so i think its fair to say it wont be for awhile.
Frances--I know exactly what you mean. Whenever one of these gets to the top of your list, please let me know.
