1st cursive attempt

So here is my first attempt at e's and l's. I am quite happy with it but I tend to go on an angle down from left to right so the one I did on the side I actually drew 2 lines to try to keep straight.

This is a second try - I saw the technique on TV yesterday. You start the center with FMQ and when you start to get "wonky", cut top thread, change to walking foot, raise feed dogs and sew using the outside of the left side of walking foot as a guide in order to get even spacing. This is supposed to be good for small things like tablerunners.
