thanks everyone for the compliments. This block wouldn't measure 61/2 no matter how many times I took it apart.  oh well.

The last of my first 35.  Maybe I will catch up one day.  Have 5 or 6 more done but will save them for another time.

This one still needs trimming.  I get the "ears" as I go but sometimes leave the sides for the rotary cutter and bigger ruler.  I enjoy these smaller triangles and small squares.  A little more challenge.  The "odd" measurements to come are another story.  I don't like templates and have never tried paper piecing so probably will stick with the "micro measurements"
