Thanks Bonita.   I love this block.  I also did one of these in the Sylvia's Bridal Sampler and just fell in love with it.   You are very welcome for the "work"....not that it is much work.   Hope it helps all of you get these blocks done easier.

Beautiful block Nana. Reminds me of the strawberry basket one we did a while back.

If you don't like fussing with teeny tiny squares, try this trick.  For the 1.5" squares, cut 1.5" strips of each fabric, long enough to make all the "twosies" you need for this block.  (I cut about 14") Then sew the strips together lengthwise and subcut 1.5" segments.  Pair 3 sets of twosies for the 4 patch units and one pair of twosies and a rectangle for each of those 2 patches.

Joyce

That is an excellent way to do those little squares.  I always forget about doing the strip piecing.  Thanks for sharing.

I've been trailing along trying to catch for most of the sessions but had the weekend free so wanted to be evan up just once. So here is my finial one for this session.

Thanks Joyce for the tip on using the strips on this one. Was a big help.

Great idea Joyce, unfortunately I have already cut mine out. Will have to remember that I can use any technique to get the block done. It doesn't have to be done the hard way, lol.
