Kim Z:

Not my favorite one

Kim, not my favorite either, but yours turned out fine.  It looks Christmassy.  I got mine half done tonight and haven't had problems yet.  Since I am doing it by hand, the pinwheel and all angles seem to go together better.  I don't think I would like to do it by machine.  Trimming the corners might help alignment of the diagonals by machine.  I have a corner-trimmer template for angles, but haven't used it yet.  I have gotten better at estimating seam allowance corners on triangles.  I don't stitch into the seam allowance by hand so don't have that hassle of picking back stitches to allow the seams to lay in the proper direction.  I trim corners after stitching.
