This one gave me fits. I had a hard time with the set in seams, I must have ripped them out 3or 4 times before I gave up on perfect and just went for good enough.
Your block looks good Bonita. Y-seams are difficult by machine. I think you did a fabulous job with yours.
Bonita, still looks pretty, even if it was a pain
Thanks again Kris and Leslie.
Bonita , you did great ,This is a hard pattern to do , I love how you set it up .Barbara
EAT!! SLEEP !! QUILT!!
Thanks Barbara, next time I'll do it by hand. Not that there will be a next time on this one.
Looks great, Bonita! I ended up making this one twice, and I found that it's much easier to split the block into quarters. No set-in seams. If you look at the photo of her quilt block in the book, you can see that she did hers this way.

I did see them that way in the book but still don't know what went wrong. They're done now and never to be done again. LOL

Poor little center blocks didn't line up properly, but the rest of it did, so I'm keeping it! :-)
I like your block Lisa. Very vibrant.
Lisa ,Ilove all the bright colors ,Nice job , barbara
Thank you, Kris and Barbara.
This block was a bear both times I did it. This one turned out the right size, so it's the "winner".
Lisa
It's the ones that give me a hard time that I learn the most from. I applaud the work you did. Nice blocks.
