I wish I'd found this group 6 months ago, I started this quilt this year, bought the book and started cutting up my scraps in January as a hand piecing project for the train this year(I knitted last year). I've struggled with some of the blocks as I've been doing them numerically and some are a lot harder than others, if I'd done them by degrees of difficulty instead, working my way up to the harder ones I think the resulting quilt might have been better. I'm not re doing any though as I think it's all part of my progress as a quilter
Debi: hope those of you who need to finish will join me :-)
Debi, thanks for popping up here today. I have #'s 16 - 18 done and hope to get 19 and 20 done this weekend. You've inspired me again, thank you. I'll post pics when I get those two done.

WTG Debi. Can't wait to see them. After my exam tomorrow I'll be able to get back to making blocks.
Kris: After my exam tomorrow I'll be able to get back to making blocks.
Kris, good luck with the exam tomorrow, I'll be thinking good thoughts.
I think I like about 25 having them all done

Here they are...I have the first ten done!
Two:
Three (I HATE applique!):
This looks really bad! I am going to take the "handle" off and do it again.
Four:
Five:
Six:
Seven:
Eight:
Nine:
I did post all ten, if I don't see the tenth block upload soon, I will reload it. I didn't use the templates per se, I measured and "strip" cut the blocks. I had a bit of trouble trying to make some half square triangles and things like that, but overall, not bad! I am enjoying this. I have two more cut and on the sewing table, I will upload more soon.
