Thanks, to all the participants in this New Year Winter swap. It was a fun swap to host and as you can see, the fabrics are just beautiful. I am ready to make 76 potholders; I will use these beauties for the outside and natural 100% cotton muslin for the underside. Sandwiched between I use two pieces of insul-bright. Each year I make something quick for my customers packages starting in July shipping and then of course for my family and friends. I love a quick gift, don’t you?

Beth is a member of a Red Hatter Group, sew I made her a quilted tote using red hat materials & machine embroidery her name under a bag..lol Gotta love this . Man I can't wait until next year to do some fun stuff. Other items made just for her; a luggage spotter or two, a quilted scissor case with a "B" embroidered, a FSL Cross for her journal.

These are all the blocks I have received for Candy's quilt. There may be a couple more, but for the most part this is it. So much love for someone you have never met is truly a gift. My plan is to set it together with muslin before forwarding it on to be quilted.

Finally got the top done, I am going to add a small black border with white cornerstones hopefully later today but I was taking pictures of other stuff so figured I could finally say that this UFO is off the list, as far as the top goes.

Fall Swap - Thanksgiving Table Cloth

I finally got this posted... I used it on Thanksgiving, and it was beautiful with the table set. I used the pattern that was sent with the fabrics for half of the quilt and then I did a "free hand" cut that was just a bit different for the balance of the blocks. I put a cute pumpkin "stitched" fabric for the small boarder and used some fabric I had for the outer boarder.

I want to thank each person for their contribution for Meagan's' graduation quilt. I could never have made the needed fabric decisions, a swap was the only way to get a great selection, without costing several hundreds of dollars and many many hrs shopping. First & foremost, I do not like to buy just a FQ, not to mention I still would not have had a jellyroll to match.
You all did such a wonderful job gathering just the RIGHT STUFF. I know that Meagan will love the final quilt sewn with love from so many parties.

they say with eight you get egg rolls, well I must say with this eight pack of florals you can put together a few totes or makeup bags, travel bags. Many things will develop from this wonderful group of swappers choice. Y'all have fun deciding what to make of them. I am wowed !!!

Kris' Fall Fabric Swap Quilt (top)

This is what I made from the fall fabric swap. I added three squares to make it 18 instead of 15 blocks. I started off with the book "Layer 'em Up" by Sharyn Craig but I branched off and made the pattern my own.

The green and orange fabrics were already in my sash. The white framing the blocks was bought after all 18 blocks were made.
