i went to our local salvation army store on july 4th - all clothes were 99€ - i bought 17 men's blue/white patterned dress shirts to use in this quilt.  one beige shirt made the other half of the HST's - i figure the big quilt top cost me $7.50!

I found another scrappy HST quilt... but it looks remarkably similar to the others. This one is from  Martingale’s: Modern Quilts from the Blogging Universe

I think it would look just fine with different shades of light as well. How's everyone coming on their HSTs? Remember they are all due in Arkansas on Wednesday, September 4, which is getting closer than you may think. Remember to place 16 HST 3" squares in a baggie (snack size works best) with at the minimum 4 sets of 4. They can also all be from the same fabric. Your fabric should be Quilting Store Quality as stated in the Pages of the Fabric Swap Group. If you are in both groups, please mark which baggies are for Group 1 and which ones are for Group 2. Remember to send the full 16 for each group. You'll get yours back.

I hope everyone is still having fun. This is my first swap to host and I'm loving the packages as they come in!

I'm getting mine done, slower than I thought, but I have the first group cut and 2/3 made. Slow and steady wins the race right?

Hi Roxanna,

I am hoping to get my HSTs in the mail very soon.  I have the sewing and pressing completed for all and a little over 1/4 of the total is trimmed and in baggies.  I will let you know when I ship...do you recommend tracking information on the priority envelope?

Regina, if you use the Flat Rate Priority Envelope, it will have a tracking number. That's definitely what I recommend. It doesn't cost that much. Tracking comes now with priority mail from the USPS. Thanks for the update. Let me know when they are on their way!
