Kathy, thanks for hosting. Got mine on design wall and ready to sew together. I got 2 sets of each so am making mine reversible and hope to mirror each.
I'm loving all the blocks!
"I'm just a poor soul who's intentions are good. Oh, Lord, Please don't let me be misunderstood."
I received mine today. Thank you for hosting. I am still deciding how I am going to use them.
Thank you for posting the picture! I think these will make beautiful quilts.
Thanks to all who participated...you did a really nice job!
I received my hearts yesterday as well. I think i received some of both groups from the same people, so I have many duplicates, is this the way the swap was supposed to work?
South of Boston, MA
Liz and all....
There was only one group of 16. Of the 16, 2 dropped out for medical and personal reasons that nobody could foresee. There were several in the group that did two sets. Each of those ladies sent 2 different blocks for each set. Here is what everyone recieved....
3 blocks of your own-1 for each drop-out and one for your set
13 blocks from other members...check the blocks and not the labels as many used the same label for both sets.
Everyone that did two sets-double the above.
Like McDonald's, I filled the orders, double checked the orders, and then checked them one more time before sealing them up. I also made several extra blocks for my blocks so that I could give folks more variety as some of the fabrics were really similar.
Hope this all makes sense and everyone is happy with their end product.
Kathy, that doesn't make sense with what I got. I was in the swap twice as was Debbie but I did not get what Debbie said she did. I sent a message to your Yahoo account since this was my first time to sign in to QCA.
Liz, you are not alone.
I've uploaded a file to the Media section of the Fabric Groups. Check it out!

Happy Hearts Block Swap 2013
Please look at it and give me some suggestions for a name for the quilt. I have to write a blurb for the Heart Association Auction booklet so the quilt must be named!!
Bummed- mine haven't come yet. :/ Hope they come soon.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the swap. Tonight was the Heart Ball and the quilt went to the highest bidder for $3,230. Isn't that great? All funds benefit the American Heart Association. Thanks again!
Congratulations, Roxana! We were just chatting about this over at Snickerdoodle. The Heart Assoc. must love you! Well done!

That's great Roxana, and a lot of money raised for a wonderful cause. You must be very proud of yourself, I know I am.
I'm proud of us ALL!
I thought of you when I saw this cartoon. Do you suppose you can claim the money the quilt brought in as the value of your donation??? That would be nifty!
Roxana, that is so awesome!! Guess we should do another heart theme for Charity again! Such a wonderful cause! Maybe a red dress one? In any case, this was just amazing!
