Hi everyone and thanks, Barbara!!!
So...I'm hosting a block swap.  Here is the scoop:
 
Everyone will be making this block:  http://quilterscache.com/M/MonkeyWrenchBlock.html 
It's a 12" block.
We have room for 12 participants.
Further details:
Each participant will make 12 blocks.
The blocks will each be black and one other color.
Each participant needs to choose a color to go with the black.  The black needs to be either solid or tone on tone black.
 
Choices for the second color:
Red-------Kristie
Blue----thistle
Yellow------Amber
Pink-----Carol W
Purple------Melissa
Green-----Bonita
Silver/Gray---Rhonnie
White---Susie (me!)
Orange-------Liz
Teal/Turquoise------Sue J
Cream------Roxana
Brown---thistle
 
The swap will remain open until one of the following happens:
1. We have 12 participants (11 plus me)     OR
2. March 16th.
 
If we do not have 12 by the 16th, participants can choose to do a second color, or we can just go with the number that we have.
 
All blocks will be mailed to me by April 30th.  Once I have all the blocks, I will sort them out and mail them back to each person.  Each person should include a return postage paid , self-addressed envelope.  Preferably, mail them US Priority mail.  you can send them in a flat rate envelope. 
 
Finally, each person should put their name on the block.  Please make it large enough to read, but small enough so it doesn't detract from the block.  So, my name would just be "Susie B, Chicago, IL".

Silver/gray

 

My plan is to take whatever color is left over once we are filled.

Ooops,

 I just saw the whole info on the block exchange. I can not see the whole directions, only the picture. I still would like to participate, but sure looks difficult block-wise. I wonder if it is?

I saw the Monkey Wrench Block, but only one page pops up and no directions or cutting directions.

Hi Susie,

 I realized I haven't got the time to participate in this cool looking block exchange. I think I would be biting off too much. And, although I love the look of the block I just don't think I could get them ready in time.
