Annie: What is the state swap?? Fabric from different states??
Annie, that was my initial thought. Then someone suggested state blocks the represent some area in your state. I like that idea. I'll be sending out information after the holidays.
In the beautiful Pacific Northwest!
I like it. I look forward to participating

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in doing a flannel fat quarter swap? Not baby flannels but other flannels.
I would love a flannel swap. I have so much going on right now though. I would like to do it later on maybe.
Georgetown, CA I'd Rather Be Quilting
I've just joined and don't really know how this works. I have a good bit of oriental fabric that I would like to swap for some 1930's reproduction fabric. Is anyone here interested???
I have an idea.. Not sure if anyone is interested, but I'll throw it out there just in case...
I would have to call it 50 Shades of Grey.
I love to use grey as a neutral fabric with many colors - looks good with pastels or brights. Not sure if many of you are into it also, but my LQS told me it's getting more and more popular, so I thought I'd throw this idea out there in case others are interested.
I could imagine this done with many cuts - FQs, layer cakes, jelly roll strips, etc... Mix all the pieces together and throw in your favorite bright batiks / solids / pastel prints / whatever - and you've got a quilt top.
If anyone is interested, please let me know what size/shape cuts you're interested in.
Carolyn :I would have to call it 50 Shades of Grey.
I think this is a great idea. I love gray but hardly ever buy. Don't know why. I'll be looking out for a swap on this one.
Chicks and bunnies, eggs and baskets, flowers and ducks, maybe even a little lamb or two - was in fabric shop today and saw all these new fabrics. Would anyone be interested in an Easter fabric layer cake swap?
Carol W. in Arkansas
Carol, sounds like a good idea , will see how many would be intrested ..Barbara
I agree with Carolyn, I rarely buy gray but would love a swap on this.
Bonner Springs, Kansas
I might be interested in a flannel swap down the road.
