go ahead and use a ballpoint and, if you don't mind, I'll carefully go over it with a perm. sharpy when it comes.
OK. That works for me. I will send it your way first thing in the morning. Zsofia

Dear Fellow Quilters:
This has been quite over whelming, reading all of your posts on this project. I am in total awe that you would even consider doing this. I feel like I have been spying on plans for a "secret party" on my behalf.
I haven't quite known whether to stay silent or comment. Well, here I am.
This has been a really hard 4 months for me between Paul's initial surgery on Dec 12, his hospitalization, his chemo, and his death on the 18th of January. I have been so lost without him, and have lost my desire to do what I use to love to do. Then, towards the end of February, came down with influenza A, coupled with major depression, then acute bronchitis, dehydration and losing 26 pounds which my doctor says I am anorexic.. Finally gave up and let him put me in the hospital on Friday. He wanted to keep me another 2-3 days, but could not get medicare to see the need to keep me, so he reluctantly sent me home on Monday.
I am some better, at least getting the acute bronchitis under control, am rehydrated, still fighting the depression and am trying to force myself to eat.
Thank you all so much for caring. You will never know how much I appreciate the fact that you all would do what you are doing.,
It won't be long till I can get everything together. I am going to Melody's house tomorrow and I will get my birthday material cut and in the mail, as well as go shopping for the April Layer cake material and getting it cut. I also hope to put Barb's, Jacy's, Gwen's, and Bonita's block in the mail tomorrow.
Again, I am overwhelmed with all of this and so appreciative for all of you.

Candy, Im glad to hear that you are going to Melody,s tomorrow. Just take one day at a time, you have been through major trauma the last 4 months and need lots of time to heal from it. You spent many years of your life with your husband, Paul, and it will take a long while to learn to live without him and make a new life for yourself. I hope you are taking some meds for your depression as they can help a lot. Just , remember we are all here for you and will support you, love you. and send HUGS , via the internet. Melody is our stand in for all the love and hugs you need!!! Im praying for strengh for you, but remember you have people to lean on, when you feel like giving up. Your sister in Christ, Susan
