Judy T-Bellingham:Pat, your block using reproduction 30's fabric is really pretty. I'm anxious to see what you think about the next block. Maybe it was just me and Annie who were frustrated, but I had trouble getting it to go together nicely.
Judy, I'm planning on trying the second block again, this time printing it off of BB instead of EQ 7. I will let you know if I like it any better.
I've been on Jury Duty, so I havent had any time to do anything at all. I forgot how mentally exhausting it is....
Pat I love it Great Fabric there girlfirend . I see now what you are going to do with some of your fabric from the swap ..
EAT!! SLEEP !! QUILT!!
Well here is my second block. It wasn't the greatest one to work. I know I tried my darndest to keep the points centered I don't think I did that bad. The only thing I don't like is the block doesn't lay flat like the first probably because of all the seams on the back. but it measured out okay. Once I put it in the quilt I'm sure it will be flatter. What do you all think?
Block three is suppose to be posted on Monday. I won't get it till late. Tomorrow we leave for Santa Maria California for my older son's 50th Surprise Birthday Party and won't be home till late Monday afternoon.

Sorry for replying to this specific post but I am new to this group and trying to figure out where to go and how to join this block base sew along. Can you help me out? Thanks, Kathy
Hi Kathy and welcome. First of all you need to have the Block Base software, if you have that than you can go to Electricquiltco.com. than you can find the block base sew along. They have only so far gave two blocks the third one they will tell us Monday what it is. They give us the number of the block than we go to our Block base and get that and do it in any size we want to. I hope this has helped you.
Pat,
I like your second block. Pretty fabrics. Nice work.
Welcome Kathy. Here's a link to the initial Block Base Sew Along blog post.
Kathy ,I think you just joined LOL good luck with the blocks .
Pat I like your block ,the fabric is of course wonderful . I had just alittle problem in the center has well ,but its really not that noticeable ,and like you said once its in the quilt it should be just fine.
Pat, love your colors. And I think your block looks great. I've decided to skip doing mine over. I really don't like that block.
Okay Ladies here's my block 3.
wow Pat, that was quick. Love the colors.
Did you paper piece it?
Hi Annie,
Did not paper piece just cut out pieces and sewed them together according to picture of block. Was attached by rows at angle it was pretty easy to do this one.
Pretty block Pat.
I hadn't realised block three was up. I haven't checked the blog this week.
I'm going to try paper piecing this one. See if I have better luck than the last one.
