This pretty triangle is listed as a beginner block. Remember to select "Size from Quilt" when printing your pattern, or you will have a really cute 4.5" little triangle! Share your sewing techniques and photos here please! Have Fun!
I hand pieced this one using freezer paper templates printed from the software. I made one of those 4.5 inch triangles yesterday. I'll use it in another quilt...maybe.
another perfect block nice job gini

Wow Kris. Beautiful block.
This one was machine pieced using freezer paper templates. It was more difficult and time consuming than hand piecing. You have to mark the places to start and stop and avoid sewing into the seam allowances.
Another beautiful block. Your dark blue is so deep and rich that it looks like velvet.
Thanks again Nana. I really like that fabric. I found it while I was digging around in a drawer of old fat quarters. Have no idea who made it.
kris, another lovely block, i like the blues. i like your new avatar, too, BTW gini
Thanks Gini. I finally got brave enough to post it.
I am not sure why you felt the need to get brave....although most of us don't like pictures of ourselves. You are a beautiful you woman and your picture is awesome. I wish I had you shapeliness.....as I used to tell people...I still have an hourglass figure it just takes 2 hrs to fill it.....LOL>

LOL Nana. I never heard that before. Thanks for the compliments.
Beautiful blocks, Kris. You have such great accuracy!
I'm glad you posted your picture on your avitar. It's nice to be able to put a face with a name. I'm usually bashful about it on other sites, but this one I used a picture from 2007. I have to admit, I've changed quite a bit since then. The next time someone take a good picture of me, I'll put it on my avitar. This may never happen again, so don't hold your breath :)...the older I get, the older I look....I'm still dealing with that, LOL.
Thanks Linny. That's how I feel about my photo as well.
