F-9 Autumn Aster - Lesson 2 & 4
I have this block started - i need just a little more to go - I pieced the interior and am appliqueing the pieces on the sides. It is not a hard block to do - I used C&T washaway applique' sheets.
G-9 - Mary's Journey - Lesson 3
Here is my f-9 block - although it looks finished I am still sewing down the applique pieces.
Here is my Mary's Journey block - and it was so sweet to do. those little triangles in the center were tiny though - but not to hard to do. I pieced the center and then added on the side pieces and did this block as though it was a 9 patch block. enjoyed it.
Thea thanks for the tips ,they both look great . I've starting cutting out a new quilt to work on .so I need to atleast get these pieces cut so I can work on them in the evening..Barbara
EAT!! SLEEP !! QUILT!!
Thea your blocks look great. I'd better get busy and get some done, I've been sidetracked by other quilt projects!
Pretty blocks Thea. Thanks for the tips.
I accidentally reversed the colors in the flying geese part of this block so mine looks a little different.
Different is OK Jacy. Pretty block.
Jacy I think it looks wonderful. I'm still sewing my pieces down on the other block running alittle behind ..Barbara

These are really pretty kathie. I have my patterns ready, but I'm trying to get the Civil War Sampler together this weekend, and last night my machine (Elna 6300) decided it needed a break from me. Had to have DH work on it this morning. Also, got the next set of instructions for Mystery Quilt #4 so, I need to decide which get to be worked on first. Oh the "dilemmas" we quilters have!
Love your blocks Kathie. That red fabric is quite interesting.
Thanks Kris. All of the red fabric in the quilt will be different.
I also finished Mary Journey. this to was a fun block to work on and watch it come together..Barbara
