A-7 called Dad's plaids. When you get this block done you will be able to sew 4 of your blocks together into a 4 patch since A-6, B-6 and B-7 have already been scheduled to be done.
Dad's Plaids to me looks like a good contrast of negative positive block. Just 2 colors and look forward to your pictures.
It is a little bigger so RA might work better on this block Kris.

The name came from a student of Brenda's that made this block from her Father's shirts.
Thanks for posting this. Will get it done and post the picture. Glad to see the group up and running again.

I made these in April. There are three of them but I can't find the third one. It must have fallen out of my binder.
Great job Kris. so you have a week off...teehee... working ahead has its benefits! I love them
These are beautiful, Kris. I really love the blue one. That fabric absolutely glows!

Thanks Thea. The BOM is going row by row so my first two rows are complete. I'm way behind on that one.

Did you hand stitch this block or applique it? Or did you machine stitch it.

Lori.
both block are hand pieced and hand appliquéd. The red block has some reverse appliqué.
Both blocks are beautiful...you're points are perfect. Great job.
Whoo Hoo....I finished A-7 this weekend. Is there a list somewhere on the forum that tells the blocks that we should have finished? I'm trying to do some catch up.
Here is my A-7 Dad's Plaids. I pieced all of the pieces. Think it came out pretty good.
Pretty block, Lori. I love the little blue print.
Kathie, your block looks great in the red & white. Nice work.
