Rotary cut and machine pieced:
I know what you mean by being behind. I just started on my DJ blocks again. I was glad to see this one because I have already done it. I would send a pic but I'm not sure what size the pic should be. I love paper piecing. Has the group done M-4 Stepping Stones. I worked on it today, have all the sections finished. In the evening I try to do the dratted melon applique blocks. That keeps me from falling asleep. :)

Kris, I am in awe at the perfection of your machine pieced blocks. They are just beautiful.

Great looking block Kris.
Thanks you Kathie.
Here is my C10 Patriots Lantern. Paper pieced and kinda wonky.
In the beautiful Pacific Northwest!
Hi Jacy, I understand your frustration a bit. Your estimated delivery is crazy! I just ordered the book/CD and it is supposed to be here by the 7th. This seems like a project that we could spend a few years on. I look forward to learning more. I'm just getting the lay of the land here and looking for color ideas. Nice to know I'm not the only one starting.
Hi Judy! I joined as you suggested and am in awe of all of the beautiful blocks and hard work. I like your block and the contrast of the fabric.I can't believe how many projects you are working on. I spied in your gallery and love your work. Thanks for guiding me here for help and inspiration.
My book/CD won't be here until the 7th so I'm browsing looking for color inspiration. Does everyone have a color theme in mind or are some of you using from your stash?
Tammy, I'm using scraps from my stash, no particular color theme. I started using just shades of blues/greens/purples but now I just grab whatever.
Tammy, Jacy is no longer posting with this group. She's moved on to another quilting site.
Also, might suggest, if you have general questions/comments, you post in the Discussions/General Discussions part of the Dear Jane group. You might get better responses.
Glad to see your smiling face in our group.
Love your colors Judy! And what's a DJ without a little wonkiness here and there? Besides, I always find the photos magnify things we will not even begin to see in the overall project. ; )
Crud! I had already made a C10 block. I check off in the book when I make one, but must have fallen through the cracks. So, here's my SECOND C10 block.
