For Paper-piecing see HERE

To Rotary cut: cut center squares 1 1/2", make 4 patch and trim to 2 1/8th.

Add 1 1/2" strips around and trim to 3 5/8th"

For Corners sew a 2" square on either side of a rectangle 2 1/8th x 2 1/2", Sew all 4 corners on (will look like photo below) and then trim to 5"

Jacy, beautiful block!  When I clicked on the discussion, and saw it, it  became my favorite block!  Beautiful colors, and I gravitate to blues....

I paper pieced this one, very easy. But i"m really puzzled as the block ended up about 1/2" too small. I added strips around the outside.

Judy,  Love you fabric.  I don't do much paper piecing, but do put strips around to make them the right size sometimes.  JAS
