Paper-piecing tutorial HERE
I paper-pieced mine a short-cut way. I cut strips of my 2 colors. Then I joined some light and dark strips. I paperpieced the whole triangle in 1 piece instead of cutting it into sections. On the bars that are light and dark fabric, I simply lined up the seam line where the 2 strips were joined with the line on the foundation.
Does that make sense, or confused you? I didn't take a photo, but I could if you need one.
Here is my TR-1!
Looks good Faye, alot straighter than my wonky one!
My TR 1 Left is hand pieced as are all my blocks. JAS
Jane, what a striking blue!
Nice triangles Kris and Jane........I'm always in awe of you hand-piecers.
Jane, I like the way you put a border around this triangle -- I was wishing it had one like the others we have done, as the edges seem a bit loose and flappy on this one to me. (That bit sticking out on the left in the photo does tuck under.) This one was a bit trialsome for me. Anyway, here it is.
Wow all of your Triangles look great. Love them.
Friends of Jane, I am so sorry to be posting my pics by quoting off emails but I just don't have a clue how to generate my own post. Please forgive me but it is due to this comraderie and accountability that I stay focused.
Here is my Spanish Moss. It isn't very good but move forward I must! -Jeanne in Michigan
Jeanne, your block is lovely, I like your fabrics.
By the way, the only way you can post is by doing a reply. We don't have the option to create a new post in the group. So you are doing it right.
In the beautiful Pacific Northwest!
Jeanne, I love your triangle. It is very pretty.
I rotary cut this. I sure had to keep my brain in gear to assemble it, even with all the little post its.
Very nice fabrics. Love all of the triangles.
Nice work everyone.
