I paper pieced mine. I knew if I tried to cut and piece all those little pieces I'd end up with something weird. It looks rather wonky in the photo but it's really not. It came out to a perfect 5" square.

Still just jumping around on the two assignments...trying to get everything easy done before I have to take the boys to TaeKwonDo.  I used the Rotary Cutting method for this one.  I need to come up with some more blues, but my fat quarter packs are identical and they contain 2 FQ's of each fabric...so I only have 6 different fabrics, plus white and another navy blue.  Better start digging some more through the stash, I'm bound to have some more blues somewhere.
