Here's your very first assignment, and like it's name says, it's very simple.

Cut 2" squares, it will take you longer to choose the fabric than to sew the block!

Oh Jacy,

Thank you so very much for selecting this easy block. I was sweating it....'how am I ever going to be able to keep up?' kind of thinking.

So I am going to conquer this block and have it done by when??? What is the deadline? What is the time frame? What is our calendar-ish goal? I bought a big whiteboard calendar with half side of cork board to help me in my Dear Jane organization. M-10 Simple Simon goes on what date as a finish by...

I hope my question is clear. After all, it is New Year's Eve.  :-)

Oh Jacy,

Thank you so very much for selecting this easy block.

Your welcome Jeanne.

I'm posting 5 blocks and a triangle today (actually 1 day early) Next week, the 8th I will post 6 more, and then every 2 weeks after that. I'm posting mostly quick and easy blocks this week especially for our newcomers.

There will be more blocks than some of you can keep up with. My idea was that everyone could pick and choose the ones they wanted to do. Some of us already have some done, some will want to only do the easier blocks till they get more confidence, and some will want to work at a more leisurely rate. I may post less blocks each time as we go along if that seems to suit the group better.

Jeanne, another cool fabric. Are you using scraps? I love to find great fabric combo's in my scraps.

Pretty blocks ladies.

I had to go hunting for this one. Don't know how I missed getting a picture of it. I've already added sashing to this one:

Here's my version!  Thank goodness for this challenge.  At first I thought, this is going to stress me out to get behind  but a bit of time cutting and it is getting done!  Plus the tips are invaluable!!  Thank you for organizing…...

I thought I had put pictures of BR-1 and M-1 but see they did not work.  Would someone explain to me how you do this.

Thanks,  JAS
