Sad to say I've only completed one of this block. It's not great. I started with the blue so I could work out the kinks before making the R&W. The colours look bad (cell phone photo at work) but you get the gist. Had trouble getting the little diamonds straight and I'm not really liking the colours.

Although I started a couple weeks ago I only found the motivation to finish it today. Hand appliquéd.

kris, i love the blue background, it looks mysterious.   is it an old fabric?   do you have the name of it?   i think i would like to order some, and do you know if it comes in other colors?      i really like it in the background    gini

it is a Michael Miller fabric. The line is Whimsy by Pillow and Maxfield. I think it is still available. The lines has greens blues and pinks. Check it out.
