Nana, they are all very pretty and I do have a lot of the same fabrics. They are perfect for the DJ quilt.

I am still waiting for Bonnie to send me her address and in the meantime, I continue petting them...lol!

Hi Gini,

actually, I only have finished the Boxy Star. You are right, I haven't been much on here and just check in and read some post. Have been going back and forth to my daughters' to help her with the housework. She had major backsurgery and is slowly recovering. I was also busy, cleaning up all the brush and pulling weeds.....yuk.

Today is volunteering.

I really like your boxy star block and can't wait to see the completed top.

Nana and Gini,

daughter is already behind the wheels again, the only thing she is not allowed to do is twisting her body, which prevents her from doing some of her housework. Hubby has to pitch in now.

Anyways, the "Traveling Fat Quarters" are in the mail to Bonnie.

Bonnie, please let me know, when you get them, because they are sent off with delivery confirmation.

Enjoy them, they are really great for the DJ quilt.

I am glad to see that the FQ's are being so well received....they were a beautiful batch of fabrics....and I am sure that the fabrics that have been added by the swap are equally beautiful too!

Andrea - YES they are.  I am petting them as we speak.  Uh, type!  They are beautiful and it is really hard to pick just 5.  And parting with 5.  What a wonderful idea to do this.  I will have them back out in the mail to Kris next week.  Kris if you could friend me your address.  You are going to absolutely love these!!!!  And so will the rest of you.

I am soo glad that everyone has enjoyed receiving the FQ's...that was a really nice batch of fabrics!  I can't wait to see what has gotten swapped out.....so FUN!  We have a new face on the site, her name is JEN, and I am hoping that she will see this swap and join in on the fun!  THIS IS AN OPEN ENDED SWAP....ladies can join at any time, and you can even sign up to receive it more than once....depends on how long it travels!  Happy swapping, and please remeber to send out the package with a delivery confirmation....it was sooo full, I worried about it breaking open!  If we track it, we can blame it on the mailman!  LOL!  You may want to add an address inside the baggie (not sure if I put my name and addye on the inside of the bag or not), that way if it does break open, they will know how to forward it!

I got the package today just before leaving for work. DH picked a couple that he likes and I'll inspect them further when I get off work.

I'm so excited.
