Althea, are you going to make a top in all reds? I know you are doing a blue one too. I love the shade of red you are using.

can't you just see Jane smiling down on all of us and saying how she is so excited that we are enjoying our Jane journey - I just see her smiling at all the different blocks and how she likes the new fabrics of today.  I cut out my blue pieces today - still have to draw my lines on - sometime tonight I will do that - i was in my sewing room in 40 degrees and was freezing... was in there too long - lost the fabrics somewhere that I used for the first blocks and was trying to organize myself so that when we started the applique blocks that I was ready... plus was looking for the blues that I am going to use for the blue blocks...can't wait till it warms up again and i can get in there and re- organize myself -

Jane and I both say - GOOD JOB! LADY QUILTERS!  ALL YOUR BLOCKS ARE BEAUTIFUL!

PS Jutta - i am doing my main one in the traditional colors of the original Dear Jane with thimbleberry and civil war reproductions and the cream tone on tone for my background... if I have the time I am going to make a 2nd one in all my blues...

If Jane Stickle should go down in history for something important (someday),

may it be that she taught Andrea G. how to accurately and consistently stitch a 1/4" seam...

Beautiful block Andrea. Is it all green or is that a black background?

Andrea, you are a perfectionist. Beautiful how you put your colors together.

Here's my red Chicken Tracks. I made a blue one but it didn't measure up. I started frogging but decided to scrap the block. I'll cut and piece a new one. I'll post photos of both in the media section.
